Verizon wants to put ads on your cell phones, not because customers want it but because advertisers want it. On the internet, ads either subsidize content we want to view or actually inform us of things we want to buy. What possible value could an ad on a cell phone provide to us as customers? It’s seems to me that verizon is focusing more on what could make them money in the short term, than on what could improve their customers experience thus make them a lot more money in the long term.
